The Volkswagen Arteon is an elegant and sporty car featuring the shape of a classic coupe and providing a lot of space and comfort. This new fastback has all the modern driver assist systems never seen in this class before. 

The Arteon’s engine lineup includes six four-cylinder direct-injection transversely-mounted engines: Three petrol turbo TSI and three diesel TDI engines ranging from 150 to 280 hp. The most powerful one comes with a seven-speed DSG transmission and a 4MOTION all-wheel drive. 

The Volkswagen fastback has an upgraded Emergency Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) which controls the speed in a semi-automatic mode taking into account the road situation and speed limits. LED headlights are another of the Arteon’s premium features. Dynamic cornering lights are available as an option for the first time; based on the information from the cameras and navigation data the system adjusts the light beam before the car enters the turn.

The Arteon’s highlights also include frameless side windows, sculptured hood and an elegant yet dynamic GT-style body. The hood opens wide and provides easy access to the 563-l luggage compartment, the largest in the class. Thanks to the 2,841-mm wheelbase the Arteon has a spacious interior for a car of this body type, and sufficient head and knee space for both the driver and passengers.
