LUKOIL is one of the worlds largest vertically integrated public oil and gas companies, it accounts for over 2% of global crude oil production and around 1% of the worlds proved hydrocarbon reserves.
LUKOIL Group core busines includes exploration and development of oil and gas fields, production, marketing and distribution of petroleum products and petrochemicals, as well as power generation.
The Company is a key player in Russias fuel and energy complex, providing over 16% of the countrys oil production and refining. LUKOIL is the second largest taxpayer in Russia at year-end 2015.
The Company operates in over 40 countries worldwide, continuously expanding its global presence.
LUKOIL owns modern refining and petrochemical assets in Russia, Eastern and Western European states. All the refineries produce Euro-5 motor gasoline and diesel fuels. In 2007, LUKOIL was the first company on the Russian market to offer fifth generation diesel to car owners. Motor gasoline of the same grade followed in 2012. Both diesel and gasoline comply with modern European environmental standards.
By the end of 2015, LUKOILs distribution network covered 63 regions in Russia and 21 countries in Europe, Asia and North America.
Today, LUKOIL branded retail network amounts to 5 500 filling stations in Russia and 21 states worldwide, offering the Companys trademark EKTO fuels in 14 countries across the globe.
